10 Home Design Features Gone with the Times

Times are tough now. The recession has not only affected the prices of homes, it has affected how we design them. According to MarketWatch.com, there are ten design features that are not selling very well in new homes. So, you might have a harder time finding them in some of the new open houses. They include:

1. Outdoor Kitchens
2. Outdoor Fireplaces
3. Sunrooms
4. Two-story family rooms
5. Media rooms
6. Two-story entrance foyers
7. Walking and jogging trails around housing developements
8. Multiple-head showers
9. Formal living rooms
10. Whirlpool tubs.

“Recently, Mr. Lane accompanied me on a walkthrough of an office building and provided his professional opinion from top to bottom, indoors and outdoors. His professional evaluation service is priceless, especially at the acquisition stage!
